American Disposal Services trash pick up during holidays in 2008.

American Disposal Services will not provide pickup service on Thanksgiving or Christmas day in 2008, or New Year's Day in 2009. On those days, please hold your trash until the next regularly scheduled trash collection day. |
Runnymeade Homeowners' Association Monthly Meetings
![]() | The RHOA Board of Directors and interested homeowners meet on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM, with the exception of Nov/Dec. The Board has to schedule their monthly meetings around the availability of meeting sites, so dates and locations are often changed for that reason. Residents are advised to check this website for updates as changes are often made at the last minute that are beyond our control. Also, schedule changes are e-mailed to residents that sign up for the RHOA-Web-Site-News notifications. Please check this website prior to meetings for possible time and location updates. The August 26th Runnymeade Homeowners' Association (RHOA) meeting will be held at 7:00 pm at the Government Center, 6121 Franconia Road, Alexandria, VA 22310. A link to a map and directions to this meeting site can be found at the "Meeting Locations" link here or in the left-hand column of this page. During this meeting, updates will be given from the major committees, and as always, homeowners are encouraged to attend their monthly RHOA meeting. The Annual Meeting Results
![]() | The June 26 Annual Meeting was held at Thomas Jefferson High School cafeteria. There were two positions to be filled for three-year terms, and one position to fill out the one year remainder of Elsa Thorson's term. It was decided to hold one election with the two winners getting the highest votes filling the three-year positions, and the third winner getting the one-year position. Grounds Committee News. . .
![]() | The Grounds Committee is looking for some volunteers. Interested in keeping our community beautiful? Write to the Board at RHOA-Board-Notification@googlegroups.com for more information. The Grounds Committee is responsible for overseeing and advising the Board on the quality of the common areas. They conduct regular inspections of common areas. They make recommendations to the Board on the Grounds Maintenance Contracts, and submit long range landscaping plans, which include budget requirements. They make recommendations to the Board on policies for maintaining and enhancing the common areas, and assist in the enforcement of the RHOA Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions; By-Laws; and Resolutions. |
